The VHE group contributes to the design of the Science User Support System (SUSS) and leads the development of the Bulk Data Management System (BDMS), which manages and preserves observatory data. It also provides scientific and operational support for the Large-Sized Telescopes (LSTs) of CTAO, develops the Transient Handler system for rapid monitoring of transient events, and handles the characterization and calibration of the Small-Sized Telescopes (SSTs) in the southern CTAO array.
The group has also begun developing advanced methodologies, such as deep learning techniques, to improve data analysis for ASTRI and CTAO, and is involved in follow-up programs with the Vera Rubin Observatory.
